The Whole 30 Challenge Day 2

Well I made it through day two! I had a smoothie for breakfast and 3 slices of bacon, an apple and a banana throughout the day. For lunch I had a half of a piece of chicken diced up in a salad. You want to know what the best part was? I was not hangry once! I topped my day off with 30 jumping jacks, 15 crunches and 10 minute jog on the elliptical. Now I am home relaxing after a long 12 hour day and am enjoying 2 ground turkey burgers with a side of baked yellow squash. I am in love with yellow squash and could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner! They are just so yummy. I encourage you to go out and try some for yourself. The best thing about this new life style change is you have no cravings for sweets unless of course it is for a very juicy apple and some almond or sunbutter. (Which I can’t have for another 28 days, but hey who is counting….)

  1. This sounds weird, I think, but turkey burgers and yellow squash made my mouth water. And yay for wrapping up day two on a great note!

  2. I am very proud of you and it sounds like you can eat much more than I even desire to eat. Stay with it and keep me informed about the weight you loose. We went by your house today as we needed water and had been to the doctor so we were on our way home by the watering hole. Love, MawMaw
