I am starting this blog as a journey into the new me and how cooking healthy has changed my life. I will also be adding a few “naughty” recipes here and there. I feel like my kitchen is where the magic happens. I come home after working a 12 hour shift and throw some oil in a pan and some diced garlic and I am thrown into my own personal heaven. I hope to inspire my readers to get out there and be creative.
I really am just and average girl who has been dealing with being over weight my whole life. I finally hit my rock bottom and decided I needed to change something. I love food, eating and cooking. I was looking for a change and found out about the Paleo lifestyle and it is a healing diet. I did walk the Paleo path for awhile but I found that it didn’t work for me so much as weight loss was concerned. I have started a new lifestyle path for help with weight loss called Ideal Protein. After I have reached my goal weight I will more then likely eat using Paleo inspired recipes again. For now I eat following Ideal Protein guidelines.
